Server

ITAnyplace server pre-reqs JDK 1.5 and JBoss 4.0.5 GA. Please install these before running the server install.

The server comes in 2 flavors:

• Entry Edition

Entry Edition is open source. It installs on a single box.

• Enterprise Edition

Enterprise Edition includes premium capability like Notification/Push support and clustering.

Install

Unzip the install for the version you are authorized to use (itanyplaceentryinstall.zip for Entry Edition and itanyplaceenterpriseinstall.zip for Enterprise Edition) and follow the steps mentioned below:

• Edit install.bat and point JBOSS_HOME to JBoss 4.0.5 directory and JAVA_HOME to JDK 1.5 directory
• Run install.bat
• Edit runitanyplaceserver.bat and point it to right java and jboss directory and launch it. Thats it! This should successfully start the server.

By default, both Entry and Enterprise Edition start with clustering disabled. In this configuration, your webapps should be deployed in JBoss 'default' server. If you want to enable clustering, uncomment the first START line and comment the second START line. When clustering is enabled, your web apps should be deployed in JBoss 'all' server.

License

The Enterprise Edition customers should obtain a valid license. If the license is invalid or expired, the user would be prompted to enter the license when the admin console is launched. When that happens, please copy all the chartacters of a valid license key, without any spaces, in the box.
