Administration module allows administrators to manage accounts, groups, access control and site configuration parameters. ITAnyplace provides role based access control. Access to each one of its modules depends upon the group to which a user belongs. Authorities are set at group level for each module. For example, only Administrators can create new users.
The default superuser and admin accounts are:
Groups
To manage groups click on Manage groups. The platform includes 4 groups by default: Administrators, Editors, Users and Visitors. Authorities are set at the group level. If a new group is created, please add it to the server web.xml security section so that its members get authenticated. To set permissions for groups, click on Update group authorization. By default Administrators have full access to Pars and Administrator modules, Editors have Edit access, Users have Read access and Visitors have no access.


Accounts
To manage accounts, click on the manage account link. To add a user, click on Add. The user should be added to one of the groups before it can access the console.


Configuration
The administrators can manage site configuration parameters by clicking on Configuration.
