ITAnyplace generates and supports J2ME MIDP 2.0 applications. All ITAnyplace MIDP applications use some common itanyplace libraries. These libraries provide the following components:

An application container that is extended by all ITAnypalce midlets
A database layer that sits on top of MIDP record store and makes it easier to read and write information from the store
A sync client that uses XML to synchronize information with the ITAnyplace server
A message center that receives 'Store & Forward' type messages pushed by the server and stores them for retrieval and processing by the applications

These client libraries can be shared by all midlets in a midlet suite. By default, ITAnyplace tooling automatically adds these jars to every midlet created by the tool.

You can use Nokia Series 60 emulator to test ITAnyplace midp applications before deploying them on actual devices.
