Basic Authentication

ITAnyplace supports basic authentication scheme out-of-the-box between the mobile client applications and the server and the server and the web services. The server can be easily configured to support other security schemes. An advantage of using the basic authentication scheme is that it is supported by most browsers. The userid/password are authenticated against the accounts in the local derby db. These accounts can be added/edited by the Administrator from the admin console.
